Webinar: Language flexibility for a more inclusive workplace

Saco-S at Uppsala University invites you to a webinar on recent research on language policies at Swedish universities.

The webinar takes as its starting point the recently published peer-reviewed article “Facilitating or compromising inclusion? Language policies at Swedish higher education institutions as workplaces” by applied linguists Hyeseung Jeong and Stephanie Lindemann.

The seminar will open with a presentation by co-author Stephanie Lindemann, who will summarize the study’s methods and conclusions on how language policies and practices can affect academic work environments. This will be followed by a discussion of strategies for creating a more inclusive multilingual workplace.
