Annual member meeting

Are you interested in working in a union or is it something that you think the Saco-S association should work on during the coming activity period? Participate in person or digitally at the annual member meeting on April 21! The meeting starts with a seminar in Swedish on diversity: The international university - Numbers that speak, but what does it say about our diversity?

It is important that you as a member use your democratic opportunity to influence our operations. If you are interested in working in a union, contact the association's nominating committee.

At the annual member meeting, there will be time for any questions and items that are not included in the agenda above.

The Saco-S association's annual member meeting

Once a year usually, the Saco-S association holds an annual meeting, usually in April, where, among other things, the board's activity report is discussed. Other issues that are raised are the election of the chairperson, vice chairperson and members of the board, election of substitutes for the board members, delegation to the board to appoint the association's representatives in certain bodies, election of the nominating committee, any bills and motions and to the meeting reported other issues. Sometimes there is also a need to have an extra annual meeting, for example to delegate to the board to be able to decide on a deputy chairperson, vice chairperson and secretary.

All people who are employed at Uppsala University and are part of a Saco-S union are welcome to participate and vote at the annual meeting! To see if your union belongs to Saco-S, you can go to the page Saco-S unions at UU. If you find your union in the list on that page, you are a member of Saco-S and then have the right to participate and vote at the annual meeting.

Before the annual member meeting, members may submit motions to the Board no later than 45 calendar days before the ordinary annual meeting.
