What do the numbers mean?
- Minimum (Min) means the lowest salary a person has in that position and Maximum (Max) means the highest salary a person has in that position.
- 10th means the tenth percentile, ie 90 % of the individual salaries for that position are greater than the figure given and 10 % are lower than this figure.
- 90th means the ninetieth percentile, ie 10 % of the individual salaries for that position are greater than the figure given and 90 % are lower than this figure.
- The Median is the salary that is exactly in the middle of all salaries for that position, so there are equally as many individual salaries below that salary as are above.
- Number means how many people who had the position when the statistics were acquired.
