Local-local associations and boards

Some departments or areas of business have their own associations with their own boards, they are called local-local Saco-S associations. Saco-S at Uppsala University ask for help from these local-local associations when it comes to things that happen at the department/area of business.

Local-local associations

Local-local associations do not have their own negotiating mandate and must consult Saco-S at Uppsala University before each negotiation to potentially obtain a mandate. This ensures that Saco-S is aware of what’s happening across different parts of the University and which local agreements are made.

If you work at a department that has a local-local association (see below) and are a member of a Saco-S union, you are automatically a member of the local-local association.
