Midsummer is just around the corner, and for many of our members, a well-deserved summer break is finally approaching.
As the spring semester comes to an end, we would like to thank all members for your engagement throughout the year. During the spring, we have continued our work on issues relating to working conditions, annual leave, and preparations for the upcoming salary review.
Annual leave and Summer holidays
During the spring, we have continued our dialogue with the employer regarding the implementation of the new annual leave agreement for teaching and research staff. We have received many questions about whether changes can be made after 31 March. The answer is yes—provided that both the employer and the employee agree.
If you need to interrupt your annual leave in order to work, it is important to obtain a written agreement before you begin working. An email is sufficient. This helps ensure that the insurance coverage applicable during working hours remains valid.
We would also like to remind you that if you become ill during your annual leave, it is important to report sick leave so that the affected days can be treated accordingly.

Salary revision 2026
After the summer, we will arrange salary seminars for members and distribute information about the process and timetable for this year's review. These seminars provide an opportunity to learn more about how the salary review works and how to prepare for your salary dialogue.

New board elected for the 2026/2027 academic year
At our annual meeting, a new board was elected for the upcoming academic year. From 1 July, the boards will consist of:
