Doctoral student salary ladder 2021

The doctoral student salary ladder for 2021 was completed on February 3 2022 and applies from October 1 2021.

Employees who have had parental benefit supplements after October 1 2021 and before the agreement was signed are entitled to salary compensation.

In market vulnerable fields and areas of business, salary supplements for doctoral students may be justified. The salary supplements shall then not be based on individual performance and competence.

The following salaries per month shall apply to employment as doctoral student and assistant with doctoral student duties (when the time as a doctoral student is used up).

Starting salary: SEK 28 300
Year 2: SEK 29 000
Year 3: SEK 30 700
50 %: SEK 31 200
80 %: SEK 33 900

Salary ladder for doctoral student with Degree of Master of Science in Medicine (Swedish: läkarexamen)

Starting salary: SEK 32 700
Year 2: SEK 33 400
Year 3: SEK 35 100
50 %: SEK 35 600
80 %: SEK 38 300

Salary ladder for doctoral student who is a registered doctor of medicine (Swedish: legitimerad läkare)

Starting salary: SEK 34 700
Year 2: SEK 35 400
Year 3: SEK 37 100
50 %: SEK 38 000
80 %: SEK 40 300
