Doctoral student salary ladder 2013

This doctoral student salary ladder is valid from 2013-10-01.

Year 1: SEK 23 800
Year 2: SEK 24 700
Year 3: SEK 25 100
50 %: SEK 26 600
80 %: SEK 28 200

Upon completing a doctorate, the salary corresponds to the 80 % level as above.

The meaning of "year" is a completed year as a doctoral student/assistant with doctoral grants or in other active research studies in postgraduate level of education (third-cycle). The salary should be increased from the beginning of the month after the year has been completed.

"50 %" and "80 %" refer to the percentage of studies completed up until obtaining a doctorate. Normally 50 % and 80 % should be achieved after 24 and 38 months of full-time studies respectively. The salary should be increased from the beginning of the month after the study results have been obtained.

Salary supplements and other salary ladders

Today there are salary supplements in certain areas of business and fields. The salary supplements that have been decided on and which are currently paid are valid until further notice, until the salary supplements are replaced by seperate salary ladders or if decisions are made about other changes. The current outgoing salary will not be accordingly lowered in connection.

The parties agree that seperate salary ladders can be motivating in market vulnerable fields and areas of business.
